The Jewellery Lounge has opened at Homi Milano with a selection of six international designers showing their interesting and glamorous jewellery collections in the heart of the historic trade fair formerly known as Macef.
Amusingold curated the selection, launching a new area in which design, boldness, glamour and great fashion appeal are the main ingredients. The eclectic designers hail from places like Tel Aviv, London, Athens, Zagreb, Mexico and two Italian enclaves. The very young Tea of THE ALL is presenting a series of black velvet necklaces and natural stones “bathed” in gold and silver.
Tel Aviv’s Liat Ginzburg breathes colour into her plastic necklaces in which small playful elements, created by the Israeli designer, find refuge. Maria Piana, a London designer originally from Athens, continues her journey into the Greco-Roman world with a new collection of mostly silver rings with gold-plating, sculpture, volume and magnificence.
From Mexico, Artelier offers bijou a new perspective with map outlines, monument rings and stylized single earrings. Finally, the small Italian design enclave is represented by Opposite Jewels and Jamais Sans Toi. And they are two totally different artistic worlds in which a heightened sense of experimentation exists. For Antonello Malfa, it is in the form of “Orite” while for the duo from Jamais Sans Toi, it comes in the form of ceramic.
