Milan Design Week 2014 explore Sardo’s jewelry creations, a blend of philosophy and architecture. Elena Sardo is an architect. Fabio Stigliani is an engineer. She designs, he brings the designs to fruition. Elena loves philosophy; Fabio transforms this passion into one-of-a-kind creations.
The brand Sardo and is located in Turin. It is distinguished on the jewellery panorama for its ability to take on and represent a new and more modern vision of jewellery. Passionate about jewellery, Elena Sardo tries to merge the melting pot of her most fervent passions in her creations: Kant’s philosophy, Louis Kahn’s architecture, nature and a desire to combine everything in a conceptual jewel. That’s how the rings ‘Il Cielo Stellato sopra di me’, ‘Aqua and Emotions’ and ‘A certain wrongness’ in gold or burnished silver with subtle details in white or brown diamonds were born, discreetly giving Sardo’s rings a certain clever and artistic little something.
With an ever-innovative design, her rings are often cubic or square and cover more than one finger but all in the name of high jewellery. It is a challenge that rewards the exclusivity of Italian excellence.
