«I have always been attracted by diamonds so I have decided to ‘take advantage’ of their multiple shapesand to transform them in silver jewels so to arrive to a wider public». Maria Vittoria Paolillo tells us a bit about her new collection for F/W 2105, ‘Le Lacrime deli Dei’.
An homage to diamonds, naturally moulded by nature, that Maria Vittoria well knows thanks to her family heritage and background in jewelry. However she breaks the rules by revisiting the diamond with design, abstract shapes. Her design is fresh and young, the jewels well adorn the body with unicity and strong identity.
It’s here that fine jewelry merges with fashion jewelry in her stylistic choice. Hand cuff, ear cuff and multi finger rings are the best interpreters of this prêt-à-porter jewel, whose contemporary twist and the right choice of a shaded silver palette, gets a great feedback from the feminine world.
